How our waitlist works

  • Your DEPOSIT puts you in line to choose a kitten: EARLY Selection families choose from about 2 weeks old, and REGULAR waitlist families at about 8 weeks, if any kittens remain.
  • When kittens are born, we let EARLY Selection families know, in payment order, beginning with any who also added PRIORITY. Early Selection officially opens when the kittens are about 2 weeks old. (If there are more LITTER HOLD families than kittens born, LITTER HOLD families will be placed in the selection queue before non-LITTER HOLD families.)
  • The first family in line may choose sooner than 2 weeks if they would like to. If they do, the next family in line has that same choice, and so on.
  • When the kittens are 8 weeks old, if there are any remaining, REGULAR waitlist families are notified, beginning with any who added PRIORITY.
  • Regardless of which list, each family has up to 24 hours to choose, or they can opt to wait until later, or wait for another litter.
